Ages 3 and up. A cover and 12 illustrated pages, with the child's first name in the story and their face on every page. You tell us whether the hero is a girl or a boy and the text adapts.

On the beach, the afternoon stretches out. Sam hunts for seashells, but the sea has gone far, far away, much farther than usual. Under the umbrella, the grown-ups are napping. In the wet sand, Sam finds a flat pebble with a hole in it. He blows across it: fweeee! A sound as soft as a flute, which makes the seagulls turn their heads.
That is page 1, with the example hero. In your book it carries the first name you choose.
